As a homeowner, my ears perked up at the NARI meeting last night when they mentioned Project Reenergize. It seems Uncle Sam really wants me to spend big money on my home now! If I combine low interest rates, with deals I can get on appliances right now at Sears and incentives from the government – the savings add up.
You may have received this email from BAM:
BAM was awarded over $2 million to create a program to incent your clients to remodel their house now. BAM created a rebate program of up to $4,000 to be given directly to your homeowner if they install certain energy efficient upgrades. The name of the rebate program is “Project ReEnergize”.
BUT only qualified, MN licensed contractors may offer this special MN rebate to their clients. To be qualified you must attend one of BAM’s FREE trainings.
Registration for FREE Project Reenergize training starts this Friday, September 11 at 8 AM at www.projectreenergize.org. The website isn’t live yet, but according to BATC it will be soon.
I talked to the folks at BATC and they said the early-bird training program tomorrow is full.
According to the email from BAM’s Pam Weaver, “On September 8th a letter is being mailed to all 13,000 licensed contractors in the state of Minnesota inviting them to trainings happening September 21-30. There will only be 700 spots available and no guarantee you will be able to get into a class – they will all be filled on a first come, first served basis. . . Once the letter hits all 13,000 licensed contractors the 12 training dates will be filled quick as it is first come first serve.”
My advice: get on this one — and make sure your clients and prospects know about this program. $4000 is a pretty sweet deal. At least to homeowners like me.
Once again: Registration for Project Reenergize training starts this Friday, September 11 at 8 AM at www.projectreenergize.org.
